CONCERT 2026-
INNI SKOOL

On 22 and 23 June 2026, the teachers of Vredenburg Primary School swapped their everyday classroom roles for those of actors and comedians. INNI SKOOL was a laugh-out-loud production that had audiences entertained from start to finish. Every staff member at Vredenburg Primary School took part—from the Finance Officer to the Grounds Staff—making it a truly memorable event for the entire school community.

Sporting events, cultural activities, examinations and special occasions – our annual calendar helps parents and learners stay up to date with everything happening throughout the year.

COLOUR RUN 2025

Our annual Term 3 Colour Run is a day filled with excitement, fun, laughter, and plenty of colourful memories for both learners and teachers! It gives learners the chance to simply be children again as they run a fun course across our sports fields, celebrating fitness, friendship, and school spirit.

FUN FAIR 2026

Our School Fair was a wonderful family day filled with laughter, fun, and great company!

Learners had an unforgettable time enjoying a wide variety of activities and entertainment, while delicious food and treats kept everyone happily fuelled throughout the day.

COLOUR SPORT 2026

The 2026 Inter-House Athletics Day was one to remember! Congratulations to the BLUE TEAM on being crowned the champions of the day.

A heartfelt thank you to every learner who participated with pride, determination, and outstanding team spirit. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all our parents for their enthusiastic support and encouragement throughout the event.

Our 2025 School Concert was a tremendous success! Learners from Grade R to Grade 7 took part in our exciting theme, Around the World.

Each grade transported the audience to a different country through vibrant costumes, music, and dance performances. The journey concluded in our own beloved South Africa, reminding us that there truly is no place like home! 

VREDENBURG PRIMARY SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS

We are continually investing in creating a safe, modern, and inspiring learning environment for every learner.

Recent improvements include:

  • 2025 – The staff room received a complete makeover, generously sponsored by the Parents’ Association (PA).

  • 2026 – A new outdoor braai area was added next to the tuck shop, creating an ideal space for school events and gatherings.

  • June 2026 – During the winter school holidays, the Grade 1–5 bathrooms were extensively renovated and upgraded.

  • 2026 – The central school garden was transformed into a peaceful relaxation area.

  • 2026 – A tennis practice wall was built between the Primary and High School, providing learners with an additional training facility.
